# Adding a CDROM ISO image

Have you ever tried adding a CDROM image in Opennebula? Come on, we’re at version 6+ and it’s still so bloody difficult, I can’t manage to do it after 2h of googling around. This is something that should have been working via the GUI with one press of a button since version 0.9.

What do you mean exactly ? You can use ISO images[Images — OpenNebula 6.4.0 documentation](https://docs.opennebula.io/6.4/management_and_operations/storage_management/images.html#types-and-persistency) on the images datastore.

Looks intuitive enough. Do you have any recommendations ? If so, please open a [feature request](https://github.com/OpenNebula/one/issues/new?assignees=&labels=&template=enhancement-request.md).

It pretty much is, we use them all the time. Either uploaded via the UI or fetched from a URL.

How are you trying to add them at the moment?
