I run 3 hosts with Ceph currently in a testing environment. Fri Oct 20 19:44:53 2017 [Z0][InM][D]: Host kvm-03 (3) successfully monitored. == This is on a CentOS 7 VM built with the App from opennebula. I confirmed and it’s Qcow2 as well… Am I doing something wrong? * * * **Versions of the related components and OS (frontend, hypervisors, VMs):** CentOS 7 latest, 5.4.1 across all HV’s. **Steps to reproduce:** Make snapshot of VM. **Current results:** See above for error log. **Expected results:** ---

If I remember right you can only do that with raw images, there are issues with Ceph and qcow2 images. Try the same using a raw image ---

Hi, AFAIK on KVM it works with qcow2 files. This line is returned by libvirt: > unsupported configuration: internal snapshot for disk vda unsupported for storage type raw Best Regards, Anton Todorov ---

So in combination with Ceph it doesn’t work? ---

AFAIK currently it doesn’t work with any storage that is using raw disks.
