# Having Issue while connecting Ldap with Opennebula

Facing this issue

## Fri Apr 12 12:18:04 2024 [Z0][AuM][I]: Exception raised with LDAP server 1: undefined method `children’ for nil:NilClass

Already Using Ldap with my Host machine but can’t connect it with opennebula

It’s quite complicated to know the origin of the problem with just the information you provide, could you please share your configuration and the steps you followed? This way the community will have a better understanding of the type of problem you are facing.

I also recommend you to check [this section](https://docs.opennebula.io/6.8/installation_and_configuration/authentication/ldap.html) of the documentation in case you might have skipped some steps.
