I have strange thing to do. We have three KVM hosts running in an old Opennebula cluster and need to reattach the the nodes to a new installation with all the VMs running on them.

I would have created datastores in the new installation and mount the respective “old” NFS shares to the new datastore mount points on the frontend(s).

Then I expect to be able to import the “wild” VMs.

Does this sound like a valid approach?

Thx, Armin
