Hi everyone,
We’ve recently published two new technical posts covering different ways to build and run enterprise workloads on OpenNebula.
Automating Kubernetes Provisioning with Kubespray and Terraform
OpenNebula is now supported in the Terraform provisioning workflow of Kubespray, giving Kubernetes teams another way to automate cluster deployment using familiar open source tools.
The workflow brings together:
- Terraform to provision infrastructure on OpenNebula
- OpenNebula to provide compute, networking, and storage
- Kubespray to deploy and configure Kubernetes
We walk through how the integration works, including infrastructure provisioning, inventory generation, and Kubernetes deployment. The integration has also been tested end-to-end on OpenNebula 7.2, including a highly available cluster with three control-plane nodes and three workers.

Running SAP Workloads on OpenNebula
For teams evaluating OpenNebula for SAP workloads or looking at alternatives to VMware, our new post introduces a practical blueprint for building a predictable, reusable SAP environment.
The SAP-enabled Enterprise Cloud Cluster blueprint brings together OpenNebula’s capabilities for CPU pinning, NUMA locality, hugepages, memory allocation, storage, networking, and more. Once validated, the configuration can be captured in a reusable VM template for subsequent SAP deployments.
The guide covers the infrastructure and VM configuration in detail, providing a starting point that can be adapted to your hardware and workload requirements.
