# OpenNebula Developer Request: opennebula-tools compiled for arm64

I’m managing a 30 node cluster from an arm64 laptop, and would like to run the tools locally without having to emulate amd64 on a separate VM.
Could you add **arm64** compilation to the opennebula packages in the **official repository** please? **opennebula-tools** (over flow and provision), if I had to pick one.

You should be able to install the [opennebula-cli gem](https://rubygems.org/gems/opennebula-cli) and [point your CLI to where OpenNebula is running](https://docs.opennebula.io/6.10/management_and_operations/references/cli.html?#shell-environment).
