I try ONE template(CONTEXT=),

> ETH0\_GATEWAY=“$NIC[GATEWAY,NETWORK="Public-Net"]”,
> ETH0\_IP=“$NIC[IP,NETWORK="Public-Net"]”,
> ETH0\_MAC=“$NIC[MAC,NETWORK="Public-Net"]”,
> ETH0\_MASK=“$NIC[NETWORK\_MASK,NETWORK="Public-Net"]”,
> ETH0\_NETWORK=“$NIC[NETWORK\_ADDRESS,NETWORK="Public-Net"]”,

but, in contextualization-image(disk.1.iso) of vm,

> ETH0\_GATEWAY=“192.168.33.1”
> ETH0\_IP=“192.168.33.101”
> ETH0\_MAC=“02:00:c0:a8:21:65”

ETH0\_MASK and ETH0\_NETWORK is lost…

I try it with OpenNebula 4.10.2, I want know why is it not working. (any documents, any info)
(I see [New Contextualizaton Package](http://opennebula.org/new-contextualization-packages-for-opennebula-3-8/))

thanks everybody~^^

hi, this might not be it, but worth a quick check; in this example from ONE docs:

> When the template is instantiated, those parameters for `eth0` are automatically set in the VM as:
> CONTEXT=[
> DISK\_ID=“0”,
> ETH0\_DNS=“8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4”,
> ETH0\_GATEWAY=“80.0.0.1”,
> ETH0\_IP=“80.0.0.2”,
> ETH0\_MASK=“255.255.255.0”,
> ETH0\_NETWORK=“80.0.0.0”,
> NETWORK=“YES”,
> TARGET=“hda” ]

All values are separated with a " **,**" (and inside brackets with “CONTEXT=[]”)

here is the info from the latest version of ONE docs:

may be, “NETWORK=yes” is my goal…
I will try and report.

Thanks Roland

[result]
Add NETWORK=“yes”, Nice work…

[context.sh](http://context.sh) in VM,

ETH0\_DNS='8.8.8.8’
ETH0\_GATEWAY='192.168.33.1’
ETH0\_IP='192.168.33.101’
ETH0\_MAC='02:00:c0:a8:21:65’
ETH0\_MASK='255.255.255.0’
ETH0\_NETWORK='192.168.33.0’
ETH1\_DNS='8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4’
ETH1\_GATEWAY='10.0.0.1’
ETH1\_IP='10.0.0.2’
ETH1\_MAC='02:00:0a:00:00:02’
ETH1\_MASK='255.0.0.0’
ETH1\_NETWORK=‘10.0.0.0’

thanks~
