# Support for SAN RDMs

Please, describe the problem here and provide additional information below (if applicable)

We are having a VMs which are having RDM disks attached to Windows Server 2016 VMs  
When ever we import a VM which has a RDM attached to Open Nebula, during reboot, the RDM is getting removed.  
How to add a RDM disk to VM through Open Nebula ?  
Please help!!!

I assume you are using this datastore [Raw Device Mapping (RDM) Datastore — OpenNebula 6.2.0 documentation](https://docs.opennebula.io/6.2/open_cluster_deployment/storage_setup/dev_ds.html)

A reboot operation should not modify the KVM definition of the VM, could you share your VM template (onevm show -j \<vm\_id)
