# Upgrade form Source (DB mismatch)

Hello Team,

I updated my ON (from scource).

I got a database version mismatch on start. The upgrade db process worked great.

oned.log :  
_Database version mismatch ( local\_db\_versioning). Installed OpenNebula 5.7.80 needs DB version ‘5.6.0’, and existing DB version is ‘5.7.8’._

onedb fsck :

_Version mismatch: fsck file is for version_  
_Shared: 5.6.0, Local: 5.6.0_

_Current database is version_  
_Shared: 5.6.0, Local: 5.7.8_

any idea ?

It looks like you’ve compiled the master branch where usually the upgrade path is updated when the code is in staging before release. IMO you should use the stable branch _one-5.6_ until you know how to resolve such issues on your own.

Thanks for your help.

I remove **/usr/lib/one/ruby/onedb/local/5.6.0\_to\_5.7.8.rb** before upgrade db and now it works great.

I try to compil from release-5.6.1 branch but _ **5.6.0\_to\_5.7.8.rb** _ are in the source too.  
is it normal ?

Yes. I’ve suggested to use _ **one-5.6** _ branch. Not sure why you are trying _release-5.6.1_ branch instead.

Also, you should consider using the [Package builder](https://github.com/OpenNebula/packages) project to build OpenNebula.

I use one-5.6 branch now, it works well.

I was thinking that this banch does not included last release.
