I found the problem now. The outdated configuration of collectd was still in the config file. It had to be replaced with this config:

IM_MAD = [
      NAME       = "monitord",
      EXECUTABLE = "onemonitord",
      ARGUMENTS  = "-c monitord.conf",
      THREADS    = 8 ]
