Hi, I have written ZFS-storage driver for OpenNebula, anyone interested can take it here:

> **[GitHub - kvaps/opennebula-addon-zfs: ZFS Storage Driver](https://github.com/kvaps/opennebula-addon-zfs)**
>
> ZFS Storage Driver

What do you think about adding it into OpenNebula group on github?

I’ve just cerated a new repository in github OpenNebula organization and gave you admin permission:

> **[OpenNebula/addon-zfs](https://github.com/OpenNebula/addon-zfs)**
>
> ZFS Storage Driver. Contribute to OpenNebula/addon-zfs development by creating an account on GitHub.

Only a little remark. Can you change the support and development links to point to the forum instead of the mailing list? You can copy the lines from this addon:

> **[OpenNebula/addon-context-linux](https://github.com/OpenNebula/addon-context-linux)**
>
> Linux VM Contextualization. Contribute to OpenNebula/addon-context-linux development by creating an account on GitHub.

Thanks

I’ve updated the addons catalog in the OpenNebula web page:

If you want to write a post in our blog just tell me and I’ll create a user for you.

Thank you!

Hello,

Trying to use your driver, installed it on ONE v5.4 and configured it as described your doc.

Restarted ONE daemon

Trying to create an OS image, getting error:
[one.image.allocate] Cannot parse image SIZE: Datastore driver ‘zfs’ not available

Please suggest how to fix this?

Without ZFS driver I am able to create images, run VMs, etc.
Using ext3 over ZVol without your driver yet.

Using following template for a new ZFS datastore

NAME = ZDS
DS\_MAD = zfs
TM\_MAD = zfs
DISK\_TYPE = block
BRIDGE\_LIST = atom
DATASET\_NAME = media/one
ZFS\_CMD = /sbin/zfs
SAFE\_DIRS = /mnt/datastores/new

under user oneadmin from one of hosts different from atom

> ssh atom sudo /sbin/zfs list media/one
> NAME USED AVAIL REFER MOUNTPOINT
> media/one 96K 1.24T 96K none
