This is the place for OpenNebula users to seek and provide support on a best-effort basis. In addition to the discussions here, there are other ways to get in touch:

1. CHECK OUR BLOG AND DOCUMENTATION

The first resources to check are our Community Blog and our official guides. Make sure also to check the specific guides for the storage and virtualization solutions available in your cloud.

2. CHECK OUR KNOWLEDGE BASE

The OpenNebula Customer Portal includes a number of resources for the general public, including several technical White Papers and a series of articles offering solutions and best practices.

3. ASK ABOUT THE PROBLEM IN THIS FORUM

Sign up to this forum to create an account and ask about the problem in here—using the right tag, please :wink: Try to be specific and provide as much information about your environment as possible (OpenNebula version, hypervisor, operating system…).

Remember: the logs that OpenNebula generates can be a valuable resource when trying to diagnose a problem; they can be found in the /var/log/one folder.

Please use common sense when using the forum. We don’t know what you have tried out or what is your expertise level. We suggest you provide the following information so the community can help you out:

  • What OpenNebula version are you using?
  • What operating system are you using?
  • How have you installed OpenNebula? From source or from packages? Which packages?
