i use opennebula4u12 install on centos7 and use centos7 kvm as the backend.
i want to accomplish the disk hotplugging and colud make snapshot, most important i want install windows vm ,
how colud i set the template?
now i meet if i install windows vms the vm could not find the disks, which kind of disk should i choose ?
i set like this but it does not work
pls give me some help. thinks a lot.
For windows, i use IDE HDD, therefore i set the drive prefix as “hd”, target as “hda” and the format is RAW.

Vanilla windows with standard KVM/qemu will only see IDE disks. To use disk hotplugging you shoud use virtio. The drivers can be downloaded here:
