Libvirtd: Timed out during operation: cannot acquire state change lock

(held by remoteDispatchDomainSnapshotCreateXML)

Ubuntu 16.04 and open-thing 5.4.1. kvm.

A VM with 60GB

When trying to do a Snapshot, that Thing gives on the Host of that VM:

Oct 30 15:12:57 734038 libvirtd[1197]: Cannot start job (query, none) for domain one-1; current job is (async nested, snapshot) owned by (1208 remoteDispatchDomainSnapshotCreateXML, 1208 remoteDispatchDomainSnapshotCreateXML) for (2590s, 2590s)
Oct 30 15:12:57 734038 libvirtd[1197]: Timed out during operation: cannot acquire state change lock (held by remoteDispatchDomainSnapshotCreateXML)

Nothing happens 1 hour. You can kill the Process, then the VM goes in UNKNOWN mode, that was it. a “service libvirt-guests restart” on the host does nothing.

Does anyone use this on a production System? I would be afraid to do so. The first tests - easiest things - all failed on this software. on a standard setup.

Not one error in the Web Frontend. Do i have to ssh to all of the Hosts on the Cluster to see if there are any Errors in the Logs?

after 10 mins. the vm was rebooted. all snapshots are gone in the webfrontend.

at the host the image is 100GB. so they should be inside this one file? i am impressed about this consistency fails.
