I want to have my frontend run without image storage but all the storage to be on my host or my nas. I want frontend to be either remote or a very small SBC without accessing my storage network. Is this possible ?
If you use the NFS/NAS Datastore, all you need to do is to mount the image datastore on the frontend. Frontend storage is only used if you run the Local Datastore.
