Can't start VM - prolog, error getting driver tm_shared

New install - Ubuntu 12.04.5.

Attempting to instantiate a VM:

Tue Jun 9 15:51:32 2015 [DiM][I]: New VM state is ACTIVE.
Tue Jun 9 15:51:32 2015 [LCM][I]: New VM state is PROLOG.
Tue Jun 9 15:51:32 2015 [TM][E]: prolog, error getting driver tm_shared
Tue Jun 9 15:51:33 2015 [DiM][I]: New VM state is FAILED

I’ve searched all over for this error and can’t get beyond it.

I think it’s a permissions issue but can’t for the life of me figure out why - when I have followed all the instructions to install.

I have 7 hosts connected to one open nebula server in the simplest cleanest fashion.

Anyone have a clue?

The default name for the driver is shared and not tm_shared, If you did not
change anything the datastores should be updated to TM_MAD=shared

Well I was following the instructions provided and found nothing stating the above.

I’ve since installed the latest stable version 4.12 and am having issues getting VM’s to move beyond the pending state. sigh…
