Reading and comparing the Release Notes for CE and EE raised some questions/comments:
There are three fixes listed in the RN-CE that are missing in RN-EE:
The latest listed fix regarding LXD image marketplace in RN-CE actually is not included in the release packages. The patch is in the GitHub repository but after the the release-5.12.0.1 tag…
Here is my last comment which is my humble opinion based on the logic that the CE being the public version that newcomers will use to test OpenNebula should have at least the fixes that are guaranteeing the best user experience and add weight to select OpenNebula. Here are a few EE fixes that I believe are matching the above statement:

They’ll be part of the upcoming EE Maintenance Release 5.12.2, which is almost ready 
That was a small lapse, so many thanks for the heads-up! We’ve fixed the RN already 
These fixes and other minor features we develop for the EE will be contributed to the CE at the end of the maintenance cycle, when we carry out the synchronization of both branches: Release Policy · OpenNebula/one Wiki · GitHub So it’s just a question of time!
