Opennebula says that the vm is still running if i stop it with the command halt (os: centos). So i cant configure a hook to restart the vm. Does anyone know how to deal with this situation?

Hi,
if I understand you correct you would like to install a VM_HOOK that is executed everytime you halt the VM from the inside.
Maybe you can use a VM_HOOK like the one presented in the following thread:
