We are running OpenNebula 4.10.2 connected to a vCenter/VMWare 5.1 environment.
When a user decides to delete a VM while still deploying this will result in a VM in an unknown or pending state. The resulting VM sometimes sometimes can not be deleted by the user. Or the resulting VM does get deleted in OpenNebula but still remains on VMWare. (Admin of course can delete the remains.)
We informed our users to only delete running VM’s. This will of course prevent the problem from occuring.
Not sure if this exact problem was posted before, or if it is already fixed in a later version.
