Ceph users in 5.6 may be having their snapshots disappearing. If you are being hit by this bug (see here for a detailed description), we have prepared a recovery process. Just follow the instructions described here.
5.4 users to upgrade to the upcoming 5.8 release will have this issue fix during the standard upgrade process.
