How can I modify the MAC address for a current VNET from command line?

Hi,

I have another question related to my previous question.

How can I modify the MAC address for a current VNET?

For example, having the following VNET:

[oneadmin@opennebula4 ~]$ onevnet show 63

ADDRESS RANGE POOL
AR 0
SIZE : 253
LEASES : 0

RANGE FIRST LAST
MAC 04:00:0a:64:08:01 04:00:0a:64:08:fd
IP 10.100.8.1 10.100.8.253

Is it possible to change the MAC for AR0?

In the command’s help, I see there is the command “-a, --address_range ar_id ID of the address range” but I don’t find any example about how to use it.

Any help is appreciate?

Thanks in advance,
Esteban

Sorry, currently TYPE, MAC and IP cannot be updated

Hi Ruben,

Thanks for letting me know

After writing this post, I saw that there is not possible to change it neither from the SunStone UI.

Cheers,
Esteban
