How to add local storage

Hi,
I am completly new to OpenNebula and trying to learn about it.
Sp far I got 3 VM´s, all run on Debian12, I configured 1 VM a Frontend, 1 as KVM Node and 1 as LXC Node. I was using the manual and was able to create a cluster with 2 Nodes.
The KVM and the LXC node got a additional disk (local storage) which I wanted to use for playing around.
How do I add these storage to the configuration?

Thanks in advance

Versions of the related components and OS (frontend, hypervisors, VMs):
6.10.0.1
Debian 12

Hi,
I tried to find any manual to complete my task here, but I can not find any suitable solution for my problem. I read through this:

But it also does not provide a solution here. Funny though it mentioned adding storage can be done via the GUI while not mention how or what the requirement would be to do so.

So, I guess it can´t be done except I add ‘local’ storage to the Frontend VM.

Hello @aglandorf,

Welcome to this forum, hope we can help you.

First comment from my side, I see some old posts that might help you:

Also this video can help: How OpenNebula Handles Multiple Storage Technologies (at least the first part).

Cheers,

Hi,
followed this tutorial:
https://computingforgeeks.com/install-opennebula-kvm-node-on-debian/
and
https://computingforgeeks.com/configure-nfs-filesystem-as-opennebula-datastores/
on the same Node. Its working for me.
