I am considering going to iscsi for my vm datastore. For the moment it is a shared datastore (nfs).
Is migration transparent for my current images (I don’t think so…) ? Else how do I move my existing config to isci config ?

Keep in mind that iscsi is now an addon meaning that it’s not officially supported. There were a bunch of problems with the tgtd daemon, being a bit unstable. I would maybe suggest enhancing the NFS configuration, like enabling jumbo-frames if you have 10Gb links, etc…
In any case there is no direct way to migrate to iscsi as far as I can tell, you would need to register the images in the iscsi datastore.
