[ImageClone] Error allocating a new image

I’m trying to clone a used and persistent image. But it seems not possible. I get:

Tue Aug 11 17:36:39 2015 [Z0][ReM][D]: Req:9120 UID:0 ImageClone invoked , 38, “Copy of Ubuntu 14.04…”, -1
Tue Aug 11 17:36:39 2015 [Z0][ReM][E]: Req:9120 UID:0 ImageClone result FAILURE [ImageClone] Error allocating a new image.
Tue Aug 11 17:36:40 2015 [Z0][AuM][D]: Message received: AUTHENTICATE SUCCESS 64943 -

Thats all. There is enough space in the datastore. I double checked that. Any ideas?

thanks and cheers

Is the image in READY state?

It’s in “USED_PERS” state.

thanks for your reply.

What about in the database? It’s very strange that there are no other messages. Can you post oneimage show -x
? it might show malformed xml or something like that.

38 oneadmin oneadmin Ubuntu 14.04.3 default 10G OS Yes used 1
oneadmin@one-frontend ~ $ oneimage show -x 38

Sorry for the mess. I’m not able to use this forum obviousely. Tried to use the mark ups but failed so far i guess.
