No device drivers were found, Window Setup

Hello, I’m new to OpenNebula and have been trying to setup OpenNebula + Guacamole for a task. I’ve been following the blog post on how to create a windows image. How to Build an Image for Windows Virtual Machines – OpenNebula Customer Portal


Versions of the related components and OS (frontend, hypervisors, VMs):
OpenNebula 6.10.0.1
OS VM: Debian 12
ISO used for the VM is Windows 10 Eval

Steps to reproduce:
Follow the guide in creating Windows Image.

I have tried to do that but it seems like the disk is not showing up or being attached to the instance. Here’s my storage setup, VM Template and also logs.

ONE Context:

can you try changing the bus of the virtio to “Parallel ATA (IDE)”. i have checked this now and when i choose SCSI/SATA for the bus of the virtio iso, it doesn’t show up too in my end as well

Thank you! That was the fix. After that I encountered an error saying “Windows can’t be installed on this disk”

This can easily fixed setting the disk as bootable along with the ISO. Reference: Attempting to create a windows 10 image - Community Support / Storage - OpenNebula Community Forum
