Do anyone know if its possible to move an running VM from one datastore to another?
If not from Sunstone admin site, maybe by copying and editing some files?
Create new image, then on terminal block copy old using dd command to new, at the end update your vm template to use new image.
if you prefer to use the web interface, you need to shutdown the VM and then you can clone the original image to the new datastore, using Sunstone.
Select an image > clone image > open advanced options > select other datastore > get beer

Although it’s not possible in the current stable release, 4.14 will come with an extra parameter to migrate VMs to other system datastores:
