Does removing host from open nebula destroys any VM in vsphere?

No, removing a host (representing a vCenter cluster) from OpenNebula does not impact any running VM in vCenter.
However, OpenNebula won’t allow removing a host if there are VMs running or imported on that host. These are all VMs launched through OpenNebula, or imported in OpenNebula. Removing those VMs from OpenNebula remove them from vCenter.
