Snapshot with SAN storage

Hi,
I have a customer with FC SAN storage and they do snapshots on the VMs running on this storage. They want to use OpenNebula but according to the docs this is not a capability of the storage mode with OpenNeubla.
Is there any solution to this or any changes planned for the future?

Yes, with SAN datastore snapshots are not supported,

At the moment there is no plan improving this.
