Specify Adress Range in VM template

Hi,

I have a virtual network type 802.1Q with 2 IPv4 AR:
AR1: 10.10.10.50 - 10.10.10.200
AR2: 10.10.10.40 - 10.10.10.44

I want that by default a new VM will grab an IP from AR1 only, and that some VMs (either by key or using a different template) get IP from AR2 only.

Is this possible?

No this is not possible, you can either:

  • Define two networks
  • Create a reservation that includes only AR1, and use that for some VMs.

For both cases, note that you can restricted network access using
ACLs/permissions, and so access to the AR
