Sunstone on a different server

http://docs.opennebula.org/4.12/advanced_administration/scalability/suns_advance.html

“By default the Sunstone server is configured to run in the frontend, but you are able to install the Sunstone server in a machine different from the frontend”

I edited :one_xmlprc: in sunstone-server.conf and also transferred the serveradmin credentials.

I am able to log in etc and spin VMs . But can not VNC to the VMs . But VNC works fine if I launch a local sunstone in frontend machine.

I notice that it is looking for vnc server in the machine where sunstone is running instead of looking at the server pointed by :one_xmlprc: in sunstone-server.conf

what am I doing wrong ?

Resolved .

These VM were created locally and the onehost was created as “localhost” . Recreated onehost with proper IP address and VNC started working.
