Virtual Routers in OneFlow

Dear All,

Can anyone help me determine if this guide applies to OpenNebula 6.10.0.1? I’m doing a project for my master’s program using OpenNebula, but the documentation I found is not working as expected for some reason :frowning:

And if not, which version should I use?

Thank you very much

Hello @harn2412,

Have you checked the documentation for 6.10?, since the current one is for 7.0 (which you can use it also if you need):
OneFlow Configuration.

Since the article was written on last october it does apply to 6.10. What specific question do you have around this? Are you stuck in any step?

Cheers,

hi @FrancJP

I wanted to add type vr (virtual router) and floating IP for vrouters as the documentation says, but it didn’t work (I don’t see FLOATING_IP=YES in NIC, and vrouter VMs don’t get VIP after being created). Adding parameters in the new format as the tutorial for regular virtual machines doesn’t work either, and I still have to use vm_template_contents.

I’m not sure if there are any feature differences between the Community and the Enterprise versions of OpenNebula. I’m really confused by the documentation.

Hello,

Unfortunately, if you are using OpenNebula 6.10.0, oneflow does not have the changes that are in the article

I would recommend you to update to 6.10.4 if possible (if you are running EE). In case you run CE, you could use better 7.0.1.

Thank you!
