Vm shown as powered off even though it's powered on

Please, describe the problem here and provide additional information below (if applicable) …
if i press poweron, it shows as on, and after a while comes back to powered of
it’s vcenter 6.7. opennebula 5.4.8
happens only on 1 specific vm
any ideas?

Check the VM ID (VID) of the VM in OpenNebula, and check in vCenter if there are more than one VM with the prefix “one-”

this was the only one with one- prefix
but eventually i’ve deleted the vm from the database and re-imported it. will keep track of it
