I have installed the latest version of Open Nebula 6.10.0.1 and connected a vCenter server of my lab. I have imported all networks and datastores and also imported one of the VMs that was in the wild tab.
I can see the VM in the VMs section, though i cannot perform any action on it like reboot, power on or off. All options are greyed out.
There is also no button to get remote console of the VM.
Additionally, the issue with the remote console, is because it’s no longer available on 6.10. If you need access, you might need to switch to the old RSunstone, or move away from VMware for good
I have already enabled the drivers in the oned.conf file for vCenter and in the monitord.conf file
I can import wild VMs using the onevcenter cli tool and the VM’s status (RUNNING etc…) is showing so it’s able to communicate with vCenter, but all actions are still disabled.
As for the VMRC, i have installed the old Sunstone UI, which i am able to perform actions on VMs, but the weird think is that while the VMRC console button is available, when it opens it says VMRC disconnected.
I tried connecting to a vCenter 7 (first test was on vCenter 8) cluster and imported a VM and the VMRC seem to be working ok.
I cannot find any errors in sunstone or fireedge logs though.
