Is it possible to build the firecracker kernel from the supplied firecracker 5.1.0 kernel config with nftables installed and enabled in the kernel. As I understand it module loading is not supported so nftables needs to be “baked in” at the kernel compilation level.
Versions of the related components and OS (frontend, hypervisors, VMs):
Opennebula 6.8.1
VM Ubuntu 22.04
nftables latest
Steps to reproduce:
Start microvm with nftables installed
Current results:
Expected results:
nft output

All that was required was to insert the following directives into the guest_config and compile using ./resources/rebuild.sh

Also ensure that an init.sh script is included in the /context/files section
ie:
#!/bin/bash
apt install libnftnl11 libmnl0 libgmp10 libreadline8 -y
apt install nftables iptables -y*
