Hello all,
we are having quite big issue after upgrading from 5.8.5 to 5.10.1. First of all, we are using StorPool as storage, but we’ve already excluded issues with it during several tests.
After upgrading, no matter how we create or add an image (ISO or IMG file - tried all options CDROM, OS or blockstorage) Nebula keeps passing the following configuration to the KVM
disk type=‘file’ device=‘disk’
while it had to pass it like this
disk type=‘file’ device=‘cdrom’
The result is, that whatever i try - new VM/old VM, new uploaded ISO, old ISO with different options) Nebula keeps passing device as DISK instead of cdrom and getting error from libvirtd into VMs log:
Tue Jan 19 18:37:30 2021 [Z0][VMM][I]: error: unsupported configuration: readonly ide disks are not supported
I’ve checked everything: ISO is configured as CDROM it’s not persistent and there are no currently VMs using it. Below you can find the exact information from oneimage show id -x
