There is a backup solution on GitHub but which works only for qcow2 images.
I’d like to know if anyone would like to work with me on a GitHub open source backup solution for OpenNebula. Console based (bash, zsh, or python) so the admin does not have to install anything else but those scripts.
Any volunteers, please reply to this post 
Hello, I am autor of original nodejs qcow2 ds backup script. We don’t use it now, because of migration to 3PAR and we developed new backup script in python with use of borgbackup. I have plan to add more drivers, but no time yet :).
