Opennebula 5.0 oned does not start after installation on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Hello!
I follow the instruction from here http://docs.opennebula.org/5.0/deployment/opennebula_installation/frontend_installation.html
аnd when I try to start opennebula oned I get an error :
oned failed to start
/usr/bin/one: line 117: 4330 Terminated $ONE_SCHEDULER
the only error i have in /var/log/one/oned.log file is:
[Z0][CLUSTER][E]: Error trying to create default cluster: NAME is already taken by CLUSTER 0.

I tried to drop database and reinstall opennebula and mysql, and oned does not start.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Similar problem here:

Brand new Ubuntu 16.04.1 x64 server installation.

Followed steps from http://docs.opennebula.org/5.0/deployment/opennebula_installation/frontend_installation.html

Thu Jul 28 12:50:05 2016 [E]: Error initializing authentication system
Thu Jul 28 12:50:05 2016 [E]: No such file or directory @ rb_sysopen - /var/lib/one/.one/sunstone_auth

It seems that sunstone_auth has to be manually created?

I cloned one_auth to sunstone_auth.

Then the problem is same as @sasha_p:

Thu Jul 28 13:26:10 2016 [Z0][CLUSTER][E]: Error trying to create default cluster: NAME is already taken by CLUSTER 0.

Any idea?

Thanks!

Hi,

Tried with a fresh installation of Debian 8.5 and same results:

  1. firstly complaints about sunstone_auth

  2. then, if create it manually, sunstone starts but gives connection refused to Oned:

Fri Jul 29 08:52:41 2016 [E]: User oneadmin could not be authenticated
Fri Jul 29 08:52:41 2016 [E]: Connection refused - connect(2) for “localhost” port 2633
Fri Jul 29 08:52:41 2016 [I]: Unauthorized login attempt

Any ideas?

Some missing step?

Thank you!!
