Adding OS Logos

Hi,

I’ve taken Trivago’s FreeBSD 10.3 appliance and upgraded it to make a 11.0 one and a HardenedBSD 11-STABLE one.
This has reminded me of something tiny I wanted to fix for a long time.
I would like to add more OS+Logos to the dropdowns, just like it’s in VMware or VirtualBox where the OS selectors are also quite complete.
I suppose it’s very little work and would a lot better.

I’ve already found where logos for Marketplace images are stored, but not how things work for the rest in VM templates.

Any pointers where that stuff goes?

you should upload new logos to /usr/lib/one/sunstone/public/images/logos/ and update file /etc/one/sunstone-logos.yaml

you are welcome, you can also post your collections of logos, should be usefull for other people too

I’ll try to submit it, at least those that are known to be supported in the underlying hypervisors and soooomewhat known in general :wink:

I made a merge request for the logos some time back. And once I’m on holiday, there’ll also be FreeBSD context. SUSE is already done as far as I understood.
