Plausibility of an oVirt connector

Hello everyone,

we are using oVirt as a static virtualization environment at work and I’ve been fighting for some time with oVirt REST API, so I thought that it would be great using opennebula on top of it.

So… I was thinking about “translating” API calls between ONE and oVirt via oVirt manager (think of it as if it was a VMware’s vCenter). Does it sound plausible? In that case… Could you please point me to some documentation or code doing something similar to what I’m pretending to do?

I know that oVirt works with KVM as ONE does, but … Legacy is the word. I also know that oVirt is quite vinculated to OpenStack, but even if I’m unable to get anything good enough to be used in production, I need to confirm by myself that I’m unable to do it

Thank you very much, and please, if what I’m saying is stupid or simply impossible, don’t hesitate to tell me about it.
